RMS Credit Pricing

Pricing model

RMS credits are purchased once with no ongoing subscription fee. The cost per credit decreases with volume – larger bundles are significantly cheaper per device. Current pricing is available from authorised Teltonika resellers. The figures below are indicative of typical pricing tiers; confirm current rates with your reseller.

Total cost of ownership calculation

The RMS credit model is particularly cost-effective for deployments with long device lifetimes. Unlike a subscription model (where you pay recurring fees for the life of the deployment), a credit is a one-time cost regardless of how long the device remains in the field.

Deployment size Credit cost (approx) Annual subscription equivalent Break-even
10 devices ~£30-50 ~£60-120/year <1 year
50 devices ~£100-150 ~£300-600/year <6 months
200 devices ~£200-400 ~£1,200-2,400/year <3 months
1,000 devices ~£500-1,000 ~£6,000-12,000/year <1 month

Credits vs subscription for IoT deployments

The one-off credit model is specifically designed for IoT and industrial deployments where devices stay in the field for years. A Teltonika router deployed in a smart building BMS installation or on a fleet vehicle might remain operational for 7-10 years. Under a subscription model, you would pay recurring fees for the entire lifetime. Under the RMS credit model, you pay once.

The break-even against a hypothetical subscription is typically under 12 months at small scale and under 3 months at volume. For any deployment lasting more than a year, credits are almost always the lower total cost option.
